Submitting App Files

Once you’ve finished the development of your App the next step is to submit your App via the code repository and the Unbounce App Portal. This needs to be accomplished with two steps:

  1. Submitting your app via Github should be done via a Pull Request to your App’s Github Template set up in these steps, with sb-apps-admin assigned as the reviewer.
  2. Submitting your App via the Unbounce App Portal is required to build out your App’s listing page, document your Github repo location and manage the App status through the entire review process. This can be done by selecting ‘Submit New App’ in the portal and entering the initial info.

Once your App is submitted, the Unbounce Technology Partnership Team is notified and we will provide a design and code review of your app.

  1. Updated the README.md file to include technical instructions on how your app works and any necessary testing credentials.
  2. Updated the manifest.json to include the App Tile information specific to your App.

If your App requires design or code changes, comments of the changes requested will be sent via the sb-apps-admin user in Github. We will also update your App Submission’s status in the Unbounce App Portal to ‘FILES - NEEDS CHANGES’ and you’ll receive an email notification of this status update.
